The youth would like to invite the Senior Adults of Mt. Holly to a Valentines lunch in your honor on Sunday, Feb. 14 immediately following the 11:00 AM service.  Spaghetti & meatballs, salad, garlic bread, dessert, iced tea, coffee, and water will be the menu.  Please let Courtney know if you have special dietary needs.  Please RSVP by Feb. 7.

 

Salkehatchie 2010 applications are due now.  Get one outside Courtney's office.  Some camps fill up quickly so turn your completed application and $200 fee (less any fundraising credit earned) in to Courtney or Jo Anne as soon as possible.    Summerville dates June 19-26, Lake City June 26-July 3, or check www.salkehatchie.org for other camp dates.  You must be 14 by the first day of your desired camp, NO exceptions.

If you work with children or youth at Mt. Holly please make sure you have completed a background check release form, even if you filled one out for Salkehatchie this past summer.  Turn it in to Courtney as soon as possible.  This is a required conference initiative.

The Souper Bowl of Caring is coming Sunday, Feb. 7.  The youth will be collecting money in the vestibule following both services to support Bethel UMC Men's Shelter and canned goods for Pilgrim's Inn.
