The Mission
of Cub Scout Pack 133 is to
The Vision of Cub Scout Pack 133 is to be a vibrant youth ministry for Mt. Holly United Methodist Church, to stand equipped with the human and financial resources to provide a quality, cost free program to all young men in the Mt. Holly community who seek to be involved in Scouting and to consistently be recognized by the York District and the Palmetto Council as a quality Scouting unit.
Our Goals for 2005 are:
1. Provide a quality Scouting program at the weekly Den meetings that encourages enthusiastic participation while delivering the Pack mission.
2. Provide, at a minimum, the following base program events and activities.

3. Pursue additional program activities that will enhance the overall Scouting program.
4. Continue to recruit and train the quality leaders necessary to deliver our mission, pursue our vision and to satisfy BSA requirements for Pack staffing and 2 deep leadership.
5. End the 2005 charter year with a net increase in membership.

7. Continue to support our standing service projects, Adopt-A-Highway and Scouting for Food. Also, work with the Church to identify at least 2 service projects that can be completed in 2005 and will serve the Church.

The Pack would like to welcome Lilly Gaynor as our new Cubmaster starting January 1, 2005. Lilly has been a dedicated leader in the Pack for about 3 years serving as a Den leader, Webelos Den Leader, Pack Committee Chair and an all around "get it done" leader. Lilly's enthusiasm and dedication will certainly be an asset to the Pack in the coming years.
Pack 133 collected about 200 canned food items and a truck load of clothing, books and toys as our Christmas season service project. Since the Pack missed the York District Scouting for food initiative, the collected food was donated to Pigrim's Inn through the Mt. Holly Church Christmas Food Drive. The Clothing, books and toys were donated to the same organization directly from the Pack. Great Job Pack 133!
Pack 133 enjoyed a wonderful Christmas Party at the beautiful Rambo Mansion in Rock Hill on December 20th. Over 70 Scouts and family members enjoyed an evening of food, Christmas season fellowship, caroling, and gifts. Thanks to all those who made it happen.
For those that were not at the Christmas Party, the Pack gave each Scout a Pinewood Derby Car Kit as a Christmas gift. Please see Lilly Gaynor or Doug Williams to get your kit.
Pack shirts have been ordered and should be available by mid January. If you did not pre-ordered but would like one, extras were ordered and will be available at $7.00 for T-shirts and $10.00 for sweatshirts.

Pack 133 meets most every Monday night in the Mt. Holly United Methodist Church sanctuary basement from 7:00 - 8:00 pm. (Exceptions are: no meetings during summer vacation, no meeting on school holidays or in-service days and no meetings on the 5th Monday of any month). The Church is located at 1996 Mt. Holly Rd (Hwy 901).
